Personal Statement
I have been playing the game of baseball for as long as I can remember. Every single year I have competed in a spring and summer season and a fall season while training all year. Baseball is a game of failure and I have come to learn and live with that fact. Even on my worst days, I still love the game and have learned to grow and improve myself. My parents have pushed me to improve emotionally and physically. They support me and help with training and working out. They help me realize why I love baseball and that I need to pursue the game. As a teammate, I am reliable and can make great things happen under pressure. I never negatively affect the mood of the dugout. I never throw my helmet or slam my bat. I respect the game too much to let my emotions get the best of me. I often have lots of other things happening in my life, but as soon as I step on the field, everything else doesn't matter. I might not be the fastest, but I hustle more than and out work anyone else and give all of my effort and focus into every single pitch.
