Personal Statement

My name is Gabriel Sager and I am a 2013 RHP at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX. I am 6'2" 190 lbs, and I wish to continue my baseball career at the college level. My fastball ranges between 84-85 mph (November 2012), and my breaking ball is a consistent 76-77 mph. My goal is to play college baseball at a school where I am appreciated, and I can excell both athletically and academically.  During June 2012 (when I was a Junior), A&M Consolidated advanced to the 5A Texas State Championship Final game and was defeated by Cy Ranch. Though we did not win, the experience served to dedicate me further to baseball and showed me that there is no success without hard work. Each day I take steps to accomplish my goal to become the best baseball player I can potentially be. Because of our deep Senior pitching staff last year (3 SHSU and 1 TCU commit), I was unable to contribute to the team on the mound as I had originally pictured myself doing. However, I worked to secure my spot as DH for the year and ended up winning 1st Team All-District DH, Academic All-State selection, and Academic All-Region Brazos Valley selection. Next year, I will have the opportunity to carry my team not only from the batter's box, but from the mound and in the outfield as wellI am currently interested in attending a college located in the East or the South, but I am open all suggestions and new ideas as well. My contact information can be found on my profile.  If you would like to contact me directly by phone, e-mail, or through NCSA, I am fairly quick at returning e-mails and calls.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
