Byron Cantu '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Byron Zaahir Cantu.  Unlike most players, my high school does not have a baseball team, but I have been playing at National Little League since the beginning of my baseball journey. I have been playing baseball for ten years now, it is the sport my dad and I both love, and since the beginning, the game has drastically changed my life. Baseball has taught me commitment, determination, patience but most importantly it has brought my dad and I closer and has helped me see the support of my entire family as I purse my dreams, it has brought my family joy seeing me play and excel.  Even while playing other sports, I have been able to practice, adjust, and develop new and old skills while having a good mindset. As a player, I cooperate well with other unknown players and am very coachable. I hope to have a future in baseball and accomplish what my dad has started.
