Growing up baseball was just another sport to me, I just wanted to play with my friends and I wasn't that talented at it. It wasn't until I turned 11 when I knew I had a huge passion for the game. I hit a huge growth spurt which I saw me starting to get better than all my friends and some players I looked up too. While watching all this happen, it clicked to me that if I can grow and get this good imagine how good I can become if I was stronger, faster, and more athletic. Having this thought in my head has given me a hard work ethic that consists of wanting to get better at every aspect of the game.
Although, baseball is my passion and my dream job, having a great education is my number one priority. Having a backup plan in mY opinion is one of the most important things to have in any athlete's life. You never know when that career ending injury could occur and that's why my academics are so important to me. I am interested in colleges that will not only provide a home for me to become a athlete but to also provide an opportunity for a future that could help and support my future family. I also want a college with a nice and easy going environment. A place were I can make new friends and a place that can make me a better man.
