Personal Statement
My drive to compete, my love for intense training, and the fulfillment I get from playing a team-oriented sport has fed right into my passion for playing baseball. Even though I started playing in 2nd grade and have always loved to play the game, it wasn’t until my 6th grade year that an intense desire kicked in for me to be the best player and teammate I could be. That’s when I started playing year-round baseball and pursuing a higher level to my game. That passion and desire has only intensified since then.
If I’m not on the baseball field or at school, chances are you’ll find me working on my fielding or batting mechanics, at my hitting coaching sessions, or working on my speed and agility. I’m a hardworking and disciplined student athlete, dedicated to improving both my team’s performance as well as my own. I’m open to different types of schools in various locations, but want a school that will challenge me both on the field and in the classroom. I’m looking for a baseball program that values, as I do, the importance of a strong faith, good sportsmanship, unwavering commitment and discipline, and will continue to push me to be the best teammate, student athlete, and person that I can be.

Official Scouting Report - Baseball Factory
12/28/2020 - Winter Pro Training Experience - TX (HS)
Eric is an athletic/projectable (6'0"/165) LHH 2-way player (SS/RHP) who shines in a variety of ways on the diamond. At the Winter Pro Training event, he posted one of his most impressive days with the Factory yet. At SS, Eric showed off his cannon with a 88 mph arm velocity paired with an athletic ready position, + range, and accurate arm. Not only did he impress at SS, but Eric also showed his pop off a little with a 4 mph jump in exit velocity to 84 mph. His loose hands, activated load, and on-time rhythm would help him make hard contact in all 6 of his at-bats. Just when we thought Eric had done it all, he stepped on the mound for an impressive 3 strikeout inning. Having command with both his 2 seam and 4 seam fastballs, Eric worked quickly through the lineup. His secondary pitches also showed well with great depth on his CB and good arm action on his changeup. Overall, Eric is a solid 2-way prospect that projects as a SS but can certainly get it done on the mound, we are excited to see where this game takes him in the future.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX)
Eric is an athletic/projectable 2-way prospect who continues to shine on the diamond. Defensively, he has active prep and moves lightly on the balls of his feet. He works right to left, funnels smoothly and has a quick/clean transfer to throw. DP's are quick as he works well around the bag and gets the ball in and out quickly. With the bat, this lefty shows an open stance with fluid rhythm to load. A smooth stroke to and through the zone as he connects and drives the ball on a line. He has a good eye for the zone and looks to get on base anyway that he can (drawing 3 walks at the event). On the mound, Eric works tall, has smooth separation and drives downhill toward the dish. He attacks the zone aggressively working to get ahead in the count and challenging hitters to swing the bag. He works his FB in and out and compliments it with a 11/5 CB. A talented all-around 2-way prospect - the future looks bright for this 2022 grad
