Donavin Fagan '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Donavin Fagan, and I am a senior at Edinburg North High School in Edinburg Texas. Even though I had a late start to baseball (9 years old), I've always pushed myself to become a starter and leader in the teams I participated in. From little league to middle school and the select team I am currently involved in, I always pushed myself to be the best representative for my team and especially my teammates. In the last few years I have earned starting positions as a left-handed pitcher, 1st baseman and right-fielder. I was selected for the All-Star team for the past four consecutive years and I've earned the baseball MVP award for my middle school team as well.  Most importantly, I always pride myself in being being well disciplined and coach-able both on and off the field. I am an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society.  I always strive to my absolute best in my academics just as I do in the sports I compete in. I believe that the only way I can better myself, is to push myself beyond my comfort zone. While at school and even in the sports I compete in, I fully believe in what my father has always told me since I was a young child. "He is best who trains in the most severe." Therefore, in my academics, athletic activities and much in life, I continuously push myself beyond my comfort zone so that I can become better than I was the day before.
