LUCAS QUANTRELL '20 Recruiting Profile

I consider myself to be a very good student athlete and I believe I will be a credit to the right program. I am completely dedicated to my education and to baseball. My education goals are to finish high school in the top 10% of my class and at the end of college have a Master's degree in Architecture/Engineering.

 While I like high school and look forward to college my first love is baseball. It has been part of my life for 10 years. My first position was Catcher.  Currently I am playing 1B, 3B, Pitcher and Shortstop. I feel strong in my ability to play any position and I am willing to play where needed. I have been lucky to have coaches who believe in me and pushed me to be the best player and teammate that I can be.  I feel that every time I step on the field is another chance to get better than the day before. I currently play for Tri County Express and my high school team. The thing that I am most proud of is that I have been named team Captain for the last 4 years. I think it's because my teammates know I am always team first and they can count on me to do my job.
