ALEX BETHANCOURT '21 Recruiting Profile

    Hi, I'm Alex Bethancourt, I am a triplet and one of four boys, all of which have been involved in sports from a young age. Baseball has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and has produced some of my most fond memories, including watching black and white baseball tapes with my grandpa. I will be going into my first year at Memorial High School, as my family has moved several times throughout my school years. This has given me the ability to play baseball in many different places, including Indonesia and North Dakota. Playing in different places has taught me adaptability and the skills necessary to be a good teammate in different settings. I consider being a Christian a large part of my life, as it not only has driven me to become who I am, but taught me how to treat others and what is important to me in my life. I consider being a Christian the reason why I am level- headed and can stay calm when either life or a game gets tough. My strong work ethic drives me to be the best I can in anything I do. Outside of baseball I enjoy traveling the world and have been to four of the seven continents; I also enjoy cooking in my free time and have been doing that from a young age. Other than my faith, what I value most is hard work. Whether it be in the weight room or on the field, I have had to earn everything. I constantly work in the off season and during the baseball season to improve my strength and skills. I have consistently carried a 3.6 GPA and take pride in my work as a student. I plan to study nursing in college and maintain a high GPA in college. If you allow me the chance to play for you, you will not regret it. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
