I have always enjoyed sports and competing my whole life. During my 14U year, I suffered a broken vertebrae in my back. I had to skip spring and most of summer sports, doing physical therapy almost every day. At one point I thought I would never play sports again and had to deal with that reality. I chose instead to work hard off the field to completely rehab and heal. I am fully healed and learned to appreciate every opportunity that I have to be on the field. I overcame this injury to lead my team every year in batting and on-base average. My grade point average is based on a heavy AP and Accelerated class load at one of the toughest academic high schools in Texas. My goal is to be able to obtain a degree in Business/Finance and compete at the college level in Baseball.
