Personal Statement
Ever since I was 3 when I first picked up a baseball I just fell in love with the sport that I still love today. I played through my local Little League where at the age of 10, I got into playing select baseball. Through out my career in select I have been with good programs that have provided me with the skills and knowledge of the game. I have been through a lot of negatives in baseball but all those negatives told me I got some more things to work on to improve my game. For example I was in the championship at my world series and we lost in the last inning. With that I learned that night, life is going to throw you a curveball and you just got to forget about it and keep going. Academics is very important to me, cause if you don't have the grades you don't play. So I focus on academics first then baseball second. I've had to go through some obstacles during my baseball career. When I was 12, I had an elbow injury and I was unable to throw a ball for 6 months. During rehab I overcame mental and physical challenges that came with this injury but gained leadership & knowledge I need to be successful in this game. What I bring to college baseball is the Knowledge, Strength and Heart to be the best baseball player I can be.
