Above everything, I'm a follower of Christ. My faith influences the way I play and carry myself. We all know the grind of baseball. The second you stop playing with your heart you pay. The longer I've played baseball the higher highs and the lower lows I've experienced. I've learned to never take for granted when your bat is hot or your arm feels good but to love the struggle. The feeling of the chase is what fuels my passion whether I'm chasing .500 or about to hit off an over powering pitcher. There is nothing like overcoming doubts. This is why I want to play for as long as I can.
