Personal Statement
Growing up with baseball shaped me into the person I am today. I am not one to believe success is given to you, I believe success is earned with hard work and dedication. I played ball since the age of 3 and every evening I was tossing that ball around because I knew that with practice I would get better…and I did. I spend long weekends playing in the scorching sun in Texas and I wouldn’t change that for anything because I knew I had the opportunity to play with resilience and play to get better and improve. Baseball has taught me many life lessons and one that stands out now that I am getting ready for college is to follow your passion. I love baseball and thinking of my life without it would leave a void in my heart so I am going to follow my dream and my plan to playing at the next level. I will work hard and trust that my work ethic will get me an opportunity to play for an amazing team that has my same aspirations.
