Personal Statement
I love baseball, but not just the games. My parents taught me that loving the game isn't enough, I have to love the work. My goal is to play D1 college baseball and possibly professional, but I want to use that to further my education at a top academic school.
My dad got me a poster for my room that says, "Work hard in silence and let success make all the noise." This is how I approach everything. I don't talk about the work, I just do it. There may be people that work as hard as me, but no one works harder.
I am competitive. I don't want to lose games, but I also don't want to lose at drills, in the classroom or at anything else. When I do, I look at my mistakes and I fix them. I rely on my coaches and teachers to tell me the things I don't want to hear so I can get better.
