My goal of college is to hopefully have a great baseball career, gain an education, and have an overall enjoyable experience making lifetime memories. Being a 4 year varsity starter has allowed me to gain leadership skills that I believe make me a good candidate to play at the next level. Some highlights of my high school career include being voted Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, 2nd Team All-District Center Fielder as a sophomore, and 1st Team All-District Center Fielder as a junior. My character is grounded in my faith and I have always tried to keep my moral standards at a high level. My work ethic in athletics, whether it is on the field honing my skills, or in the weight room working on my strength and conditioning, has always been persistent and unwavering. I have a desire to improve and am willing to do so on my own outside of scheduled practices and workouts. In academics, I have always strived to do my best and take upper level courses, even though it is sometimes difficult to juggle with athletics. I think this aspect of learning to manage my time between athletics and academics is another reason I would be a good candidate for collegiate athletics, because I know succeeding in the classroom will be necessary for me to be able to also succeed on the field.
