Personal Statement

Hi there and thank you for looking at my profile!

My name is Riley Mooney and I am the starting catcher for the North Zulch Varsity Baseball Team. Since I was small, baseball has always been my favorite sport. I started out like all others, t-ball, little league. etc. I started playing tournament ball at 9U and continued to play until 13U. I am an all around utility player but catching is my favorite position and what I play 99% of the time. As a freshman, I was awarded All District Utility Player, First Team, Honorable Mention and District 21-A All District Catcher of the Year. Along with baseball, I am heavily involved with FFA and Ag Mechanics. I have won Reserve Champion two years in a row with my welding project at the Madison County Fair. My dream/goal has always been to play ball in College along with obtaining a degree in the Agriculture field or Construction Science area.
