Personal Statement

I have been playing baseball for almost thirteen years now. It has taught me many things, but the major point is that baseball is much more than just a game. It has taught me principals of hard work, grit, and mental capacity.  In the classroom,  I am a good student and I enjoy improving my knowledge of the world around me. Outside of being a student athlete, I also go on mission trips to the Middle East and Central America. These trips have taught me how to appreciate my blessings and understand that I am entitled to nothing. Overall, I understand that I have the baseball skills to improve a team and I see myself as someone who brings energy and leadership to a team.
