I started playing baseball at the age of 7 and from the very first day, I have had a deep love for the game. I am eager to play in college to get the best opportunity in baseball and in my academics. I practice everyday whether it's in my backyard or with my teams. I will do my best at practice, games and in the classroom as well. I am a fast learner and I always take in what my Coach is telling or teaching me. I am always striving to do my best in the game and I want to be better than I was the day before.
I believe I have struggled and persevered the most in the past 2 years of playing baseball with my high school team. Both seasons we didn't do as well as we should have and I learned that it's not always about the win but how you learn from your mistakes. My parents always reassure me that the game I just played is in the past and I have to know my mistakes, work on improving them and always look forward to the next game.
I look forward to talking with all colleges that are interested in me. Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
