Personal Statement
My goal is to play Major League Baseball ...... therefore it is imperative that I work my plan by playing on a high quality academic collegiate baseball program for a coach driven by success and winning. I am a solid, highly competitive athlete aspiring for a medical degree, unselfishly lead by example, work smarter and harder, and instill a gritty winning attitude in my teammates that second place isn't good enough. Being a hard working, goal oriented and focused individual, my drive is athletics, academics and leadership. My goals in life have been most heavily influenced by my parents, coaches and teachers. My dad was a former minor league player in the Reds organization and the State Director of Exemplary Instruction for the State of Texas, my mom is a central office administrator for the Austin school district and my older brother was Captain of the Richmond Spiders baseball team. Because of their influence, my skills were being developed continually with a heavy emphasis on "grit" to move me ahead of my teammates. I am an excellent "A" honor society student in a highly competitive academic high school of 3000 students, ranked in the top 20 in the Southwest. As a freshman, I started at shortstop and second base in the most competitive Big 6A baseball district in Texas. I have played on the Canes Southwest travel team for the past 6 seasons as a pitcher and middle infielder. I now play on the Banditos Elite team out of Tomball, Texas. I have accumulated multiple accolades over the past 2 years. For example: All American 3rd baseman by ATX,
All Tournament Team, 2021 17u PG Central Elite Championship,
All Tournament Team 2021 17u National Championship, Ft. Myers ,

Texas Coaches Spring Magazine rated as 6th best home run hitter comparing 2,420 players,

Fielding percentage of 1.000

I will take my plan to a collegiate coach who knows I will help their baseball program win and where I can excel in the classroom. My collegiate team will keep me for 4 years.
