Caden Engle '16 Recruiting Profile

I possess many important qualities that I believe will allow me to play at any college level as I am hardworking, intelligent, athletic and very driven.  I lift weights 5-6 times a week while staying active running, hiking and playing basketball. I also work in the cage, hit and field almost daily to continue to improve and build on my craft.  I have played a big role as a leader since my freshmen year whether it is in the classroom, weightroom, on the baseball field or basketball court where my teamates have voted me team captian 3 times.  Being a good teammate and leader is a very important to me as it is my goal to make team chemistry better and set examples that everyone can follow.  I believe my best athletic qualities to be a combination of speed, explosiveness and intelligence.  My one attribute I believe to be more important than any other is that I never ever give up and will always try beat the next guy.  Education remains my number one priority as I am currently ranked 13th  of 197 students, which places me in the top 10% of my class with a 4.03 GPA. I have also got a head start on my college education with the completion of several dual credit courses.  My collegiate goals include graduating at the top of my class with a degree in Engineering or Education and continuing to play this game I have always loved so much at the next level. If you are looking for a good teammate, a leader, someone who can bang out base hits or use the glove to take base hits away at multiple positions then please consider me in your next recruiting class.
