Ashton Williams '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ashton Williams. I am 17 years old and currently the second baseman for Dawson High School. I knew since I was four years old that not only did I want to play varsity baseball but I to wanted to play on a college and professional level. I've always been told that hard work beats talent, but thankfully I was blessed with talent and hard work to back it up. I'm a leader. I've never known anything different. I was never taught to follow. That's what makes me skilled on the diamond, in the classroom and also in life. 

I'm 5'6 with a lot of pop in the bat.If I could compare myself to anyone it would be Jose Altuve; great passion for the game and dedication. I am a skilled player that can play anywhere on the field. I'm coachable, a quick learner and I am comfortable with the uncomfortable. Not only am I trained physically, but I'm trained mentally as well.

I'm open-minded on where I receive the opportunity to play; big college or small college. As long as it has a diamond I'm there.
