Brett McGee '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brett McGee. I am currently a 5'11, 170 lb senior grad 2018 at Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Tx.  My goal is to be a part of not only an excellent baseball program, but to attend a college that has high academic standards. My top pop time as of June 5, 2017 is 1.87 verified by The Complete Showcase.  Discipline, a hardworking attitude, being coachable, and being a leader among my peers are my strengths. I am working everyday to get bigger and stronger.  I workout before school, during school, and after school.  I am the first one to practice, and the last one to leave.  I have never taken drugs or drank alcohol.  I am a christian and  an active leader in my church, leading and working with those younger and the same age in my youth. I am not a problem in the classroom; I am always reliable for eligibility and push myself to stay atop of my class. I am currently in the top 10% of my class, being ranked 12th out of 165 students. Playoff experience and a high level of competitiveness in not only my high school varsity team, but also my select team has helped me to prepare for the next level. I would love nothing more than to be a part of a baseball program that values academic and athletic success. If given the opportunity to play at the next level and be a part of your program, I would be the hardest working player on and off of the field.
