Personal Statement
Baseball has always been a huge part of my life and have been playing since I was four years old. I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I have grown so much as a person and a player because of the lessons the game has taught me. It is my dream and my goal to play at the collegiate level.
I started travel ball when I was 10 years old and prefer to play year round because I’m able to keep my skills sharp and continue to get better all of the time. I just finished my high school season and will spend my summer playing showcase ball for the Dallas Tigers 16U team. I maintain a 3.9 GPA and want to major in criminal justice, so I need to attend a school that has that major available.
I have many qualities that will make me an asset to a team. I am a great teammate and get along with almost everyone I meet. I am ultra-competitive and don’t easily accept failure. I will work tirelessly to continue to progress my skills as a player and a person.
I am looking for an institution that can assist me financially while giving me a quality education and grant me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing college baseball.
