- 2021 Spotlight #2
Personal Statement
After dedicating the last 10 years to baseball and the craft of pitching, I’m striving to play at the college level, and beyond. Playing baseball in Aledo, Texas at a very young age really taught me what it meant to compete at a higher level. Over this 10 year journey, many former professional and collegiate level players and coaches have worked with me and told me that I have what it takes to make it at the next level. Some of the players and coaches consist of Mike Bacsik (Texas Rangers), Chase Wright (New York Yankees), and Bryson Myles (Cleveland Indians). I recently played in a Fall league out of Lubbock, Texas. I had 4 appearances with 12 innings pitched, 22 K’s, 2 walks, 2 hits, and an era of 0.
Growing up I was always taught school comes first, so I’m currently sitting with a 3.7 GPA as a Junior. My current plan is to get a business degree from a prestigious university, with the end goal being to earn an MBA. Athletically, the goal is to play at the collegiate level, with the ultimate goal of having a professional career.
