Brantly Baker '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2022 RHP and I attend Sunnyvale High school as well as play for Academy Select Baseball now 5 Star Performance DFW in the summer and fall.  I am a diligent, dedicated, and coachable athlete and student; my passion can be seen both on the baseball field and in the classroom. That being said, academic success is very important to me as I believe that success in the classroom aids in success on the field.  A good teammate encourages and helps their peers on the field and in the classroom. I also believe that my faith plays a huge part in who I am as an individual and as a ballplayer.

As a pitcher I manage the game well.  On the mound, I do not let emotions get in the way even when bases are loaded and I hit my locations well with all of my pitches.  I believe that I always have room for improvement therefore,  I am not quick to judge other's mistakes or shortcomings.  We have to look at ourselves before we point the finger at others; I own my mistakes and I am often my own worst critic.  My ultimate goal is to continue to play the game that I have loved since childhood while furthering my education.
