Personal Statement
I aspire to get a degree in kinesiology and pursue a career in sports medicine. I’m interested in this pathway because I want to be involved in preparing athletes in their sports. I would love to be a part of the prevention and recovery of injury.
Growing up I always wanted to help people and be apart of a team. I give 120% at everything I do and nothing less. I hope to come out of college a better learner and a harder worker.
Baseball means everything to me. It means brotherhood and most of all leadership. My sophomore year I was given the gift as varsity catcher and I had to step up for my team as a leader. Not only in games but most of all in practice. Everything you do is for the team and never against it. I had to lead the defense on the field every game. I did that all season and even in the state championship game leading us to victory. The win wasn’t only because I lead them but it’s because the leadership made us one whole working unit towards victory. I believe you can’t teach hustle, heart, or most of all, a love for the game, and I was born with all three.
