Personal Statement
My name is Jonathan Jaynes. I go to Brazos High School in Wallis, TX. I am a senior, class of 2016 and looking for major opportunities in high rated baseball colleges. I am number 4 in my class. My GPA is a 4.0 or 99.138. I am also a 4-time UIL spelling champion. I am a current member in the band and look forward to playing band at college football games and other activities. I play the snare drum and the quads. I am also a member of student council as our schools baseball representative. I am considering Mathematics and Music as majors, and Coaching and Business as minors. I enjoy going to baseball lessons in my free time. Currently Ronnie Thames is my instructor, who previously coached at Grayson Jr. College in Denison, TX when they won 2 championships but I have also been trained by Paul Kessler for the past 4-5 years.. I am also a FCA member and love the Lord Jesus Christ. I have taken the PSAT once every year since eighth grade and the past two years I have scored 2nd highest in the school. and my junior year I had the highest PSAT scores of the entire high school. I have taken the SAT 5 times now. My plan is to prepare hard and take the SAT score again so that I can raise my score. I love baseball with an immense passion and work hard every day to fine tune all mechanics. I keep my grades up and am dedicated to being as successful as possible and am always willing to push myself that little bit further. I look forward to hearing from colleges and the opportunities they provide!
