Brennen Campbell '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brennen Campbell. I'm a 5'8" 145 lb. versatile infielder who's been playing baseball since I could swing a stick and toss a ball.

I'm known for my competitive grit and quick baseball wit.  I've played at the varsity level since my Sophomore year and expect the best from myself each time I step onto the diamond.  I predominantly play 2^nd base, but have played short stop, 3^rd base, and occasionally pitched.

I pride myself on my hard work and commitment.  I spend hours each week putting time in the cages, on the field, and with my personal coach working on my craft.  I take what I do seriously and am my own worst critic.  My goal is to be the best I can be.

I'm looking for a college program where I can become an immediate asset to the team either physically on the field, and/or emotionally and spiritually in the locker room. I'm also looking for a program where quality leadership is revered, hard work pays off, a culture of brotherhood flourishes, and honor and integrity of the game is held sacred.

I must also mention, that although I credit Baseball for shaping much of who I have become in my first 16 years of my life, the accumulation of knowledge through academia will define me for the next 50 years as I prepare to give back to this world through educational application and sharing.  Therefore, finding a school with a strong academic program with the right components to set my academic path is of great importance to me. 

At this time, I do plan to keep my region selections to the Southwest or lower Midwest states, although I have no preference as to division/level or school size.  My main consideration will be finding the right fit both athletically and academically.  That said, no matter where my college baseball search may take me these next couple of years, I am eager to embrace the experience and looking forward to meeting a ton of new coaches and touring some beautiful campuses.
