What makes me a good candidate? I love the game of baseball and the lessons and joy it brings me. I really enjoy being part of a team with other hard-working players who give it 100% on and off the field.
Baseball involves mental toughness, brotherhood, sacrifice for teammates and a work ethic that requires sweat, bruises, and a lot of red dirt and grass stains. I’m passionate about every aspect of this game.
My goal for collegiate baseball is to continue to play the sport for as long as I can by joining a team with other hard workers and representing my school with pride and integrity. I want to take baseball as far as baseball will let me take it. I consider myself to be a student of the game, have a coachable attitude and a tremendous work ethic. I’m a student who strives to excel in the classroom and on the field by challenging others to work hard.
One of the characteristics that I believe sets me apart from the rest is that of having a teachable and respectful attitude toward my coaches and those in authority over me, as well as my noticeable work ethic. Learning never stops. If I’m not the best at something, I want to do what ever it takes to be the best. I put in the work at practice and in games.
I will be entering my freshman year of High School in August of 2022 and will graduate in May of 2026. I just completed my 8th grade year of school with a 3.9 GPA.
