Jhett Mangum '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the wonderful sport of baseball since I was 5 years old, and I have been in love with the game ever since I started. My dad instilled the love of the game into me when I was a kid, and I have learned so many skills from it over the years. I have been privileged to have taken lessons from Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech, Minor Leaguer Ben Moore, Tom House, and more. The sport of baseball has fostered my competitive side, and I am determined to do whatever it takes to defeat my opposition. My academic goals in high school are to be a 4.0 student all the way through my senior year. That accomplishment, along with going to college will allow me to continue my path of interest in business.

I have gained valuable lessons over the years from baseball such as the importance of teamwork, and the rewards received from hard work over periods of time. I am searching for a college that will best suit me academically as well as athletically. I believe I am fit for all skills necessary to make a positive impact on your team.
