Matthew Milliner '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matthew Milliner.  I am a senior at James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. I would like to attend a school that is a good fit for me, academically and athletically. Currently I have a 3.61 GPA. I understand how important my grades in the classroom are, and would like to attend a school that appreciates that. I play 1st base and pitch at Bowie, and and outfield and pitch for Action Baseball Club during the summer and fall. I believe my greatest attribute is my versatility. I can play all 9 defensive spots on the field, and have done so since about 10 years old. I normally hit for contact and extra base hits, and I'm never afraid to lay down a bunt. I am 6'3" tall and weigh 185 lbs. I train with True Grind Systems 4 days a week almost year round to improve my size and strength. This makes for a busy week paired with school baseball practice and fall club practice, but I put my grades first. I know how to be organized and budget my time. I am a very dedicated athlete and work hard for my team, all while holding myself to the highest standard. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
