I started playing baseball competitively at 8 years old. I love the game, and playing in college has always been a goal of mine. I hope that my college years will be a growth period for me on and off the field. I hope that college is another aspect of my life that will help me become a better person, good father, husband, and family member. I am looking forward to finding the right college fit for me both in academics and on the baseball field.
Off the field my goal is to work on a degree in the medical field, and become a Pharmacist or a Nurse Practitioner. On the field I plan on being an integral part of a team. As a "Musketeer Athlete Type" I consider my choices very thoughtfully. I know I can have a positive influence on my teammates and coaches. I listen well and have a strong desire to help my coaches and teammates in any way possible. I am very team oriented. I hope to be an asset to any program that is willing to help me both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career. I come from a strong religious and educational background. My father is a teacher, and my mother a nurse. They have instilled in me the importance of always doing my best both in life, academics, and baseball.
I have an above average baseball IQ that I am very proud of. If you watch enough of my games you will realize that I'm one of the best players on the field. If you only watch one or two of my games, you may not be blown away by fireworks. I'm not a flashy player, but one of my assets is that I'm a very consistent player. I'm a contact hitter that always hits for a great batting average, and as I grow I'm becoming more and more of a power hitter. I have always been a great defensive player, and I make very few errors. I take pride in the consistency I show on the field. I always respect the game I love. I respect my coaches and teammates, and it would be an honor to be a part of any baseball program. I understand that my behavior and attitude both now and in the future reflects the college I will eventually play for. Thank you for viewing my profile.
