Personal Statement
My dream is to play baseball in college, obtain a degree in Sports Therapy and continue to be "in the game" of athletics helping athletes in their time of need get back to playing as soon as possible. My life is sports, I love to play, I enjoy teaching the game to others who are just learning or can be supported in to becoming better, I also use the team and other game philosophies in my daily life. I am a student athlete, I have worked very hard to achieve good things academically and to be a positive member of my school community. I enjoy being a member of clubs such as the National Honor Society and Varsity Club. It makes me feel accomplished to be able to work with others to enhance student life at my school. In school I have the same mentality on practicing for an exam as I do when I am trying to learn a new pitch. You will play how you practice, so if you half study or do a last minute project you are not going to get the same success as you would if you put in the effort needed to study or start that project weeks earlier. On the field you would be hard pressed to find a better team player. I personally work hard at being the best player I can be and put in time an energy on and off season to continue to improve. When we are on the field I will work just as hard to make my teammates successful as I will to make myself. I feel team sports are only successful if all members are working towards that success and achieving as individuals.
