I am a proud 2018 graduate of Stratton Mountain School. SMS has produced over 42 Olympians and my coach, Ross Powers is a two time Halfpipe Olympic medalist (gold and silver). As a sophmore, I won the Most Improved Award and my senior year, honored with the Snowboard Achievement Award. You may be thinking, " What does this have to do with baseball?" My answer is, I learned from one of the best athletes in the world. I learned to physically challenge myself, to set very high, achievable goals and have a very strong work ethic. I was the first to show up for practice and the last one to leave. In 2017, I was awarded the "Kind Award" at USASA Snowboard Nationals because of my reputation for being a team player and always willing to lend a hand to my teammates. In addition to snowboarding, my other greatest passion is baseball. I have been a baseball player since the age of 6, Captain of my high school team senior year and also a member of the First Team All Conference Marble Valley. My focus is to become the best college baseball player that I can be. I know first hand about the hard work and dedication necessary to become a champion and will continue to have the same work ethic with respect to baseball.
