Personal Statement
I am a Hard worker on the field and one off the field with the help of the NJROTC program at Potomac Senior High School. I lead in our PT sessions sometimes I have a lot of people that come up to me and ask questions if they do not understand something in most of my classes.I excel at 2nd and Shortstop and I have this past year been playing and getting better at third. I lack practice in are catcher and first base.I also have been through many emotional things that hurt me but no matter what my love for baseball and my 3 brothers were the things getting me through it. I have gone through 2 traumatic injuries that I have beat through physical therapy just to get my cleats back in that clay of the ball field. There is a quote my Step Mother found saying “What Matters Most” that has got me through struggles and harder times and it keeps me going. This year I got a leadership position In my NJROTC program as a PT team Commander. i know am once again dealing with an other injury in form of a right shoulder posterior labral tear. Though most people would not want to put all these in all these injuries but you know what i have always proved people wrong my life. The reason I talk of my injuries is because first off all you guys as recruiters know medical records. Secondly it shows to me and hopefully to all you that I am more stubborn than mule there is nothing that will get in my way of dreams. Along with my injury, I am also dealing with a Coach that tells me I'm not good enough but I have dealt with that before. The reason I bring this up is the face I have never had a because in his eyes if your a JV you are a waste of time. Also he expects me to perform so much better but he only comes to 1 out of every 5 games and when he does he bring Varsity down with him. So the whole situation mentally has and still has me sadly rethinking my dream of playing baseball. Everyday though I look myself in the mirror and tell and see my self I am the one God made to prove everyone wrong.
