Tyler Watkins '20 Recruiting Profile

The keys to my pitching success have been muscle memory, mirror drills, and a short memory. I strive to get better with every appearance and am known for the one who comes to the mound to get out of sticky situations.

I want to carry these skills onto the field in college. I want to be part of the team, celebrate the wins and learn from the losses, and continue to improve in the game that has given me so much.

I am just as serious in the classroom as in the dugout and am proud of my performance with both. School and baseball have taught me how to multi-task, prioritize and stay focused. They have taught me humility, respect, community service and the importance of not giving up.

I will be a positive addition to your team by always putting team before individual and strength above weakness. Pitching is my passion, but I am at home on first and third as well as either corner outfield.  Being a well-rounded player and student, I strongly believe I will contribute to the team and to the school.
