Personal Statement
The reason why I want to go to college is to get a quality education. However, I also want to continue to play the game I love beyond high school, which is why when looking for a college to attend, I want to look for one that fits me academically, then athletically. I started playing baseball when I was 11 and ever since then it has become my life. Because it is my life and I enjoy playing baseball so much, I want to keep my "lifeline"(baseball) going as long as I can, which is why I would love it if I had the opportunity to continue my baseball career into college. If I was able to play baseball in your program, my goals would be to form a brotherhood and family with the guys I would be playing with because if we can make that happen, we can do anything. Even if you lose a game, you have each others backs no matter what. The reason why I believe that I am the best candidate for your family is because of my determination. No matter what I am doing, I want to be the best at it, which is why I give 110% in school, the weight room, and on the field. I have the mindset that I have to give 110% because this is the only way I can succeed because I am not the smartest, not the strongest, and definitely not the best baseball player there is. I realize that you have probably heard many players before me tell you that their determination, hard work, and work ethic is better than anyone out there, which is why I am not just going to tell you how strong mine is, but I am going to show you, if you are willing to give me the chance to. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and read this and I hope that I can be apart of your family sometime soon!
