Personal Statement
Hi I’m Cameron, let me tell you a little about me. My mind set when it comes to baseball is always the team first. To me, the team is more important, because to win baseball games you have to have your whole team up in the game. I always have a positive attitude because negativity brings people down. My baseball team is like my second family, and I will always have their back. I also believe there is more to me than just numbers, I will always put the work in and sacrifice for my team, I am incredibly coachable, and am willing to work until it is my time to contribute.
While baseball is a gigantic part of my life, it’s not the only part. Im active in the community with my team and other clubs. I volunteer with the Wards Corner Lions club and I have since I was 10 years old. Our high school team is also very active in the community as well; cleaning the city streets and beaches, and working many marathons and races.
To me working hard is the key to success. Everything worth doing is worth doing to the absolute best of your abilities, and as a member of your team and a student athlete I will do just this.
