Personal Statement
From the moment I started playing baseball at 7 years old, I knew this was my sport. I loved the rush when the ball came to me, and the excitement when I get the out and everyone surrounds me and tells me good job, that feeling has never gone away, even from the 10 years of playing this sport. One trait every team needs is leadership. That't not a coach being a coach, but a player being a leader. Having the Pre-Game meetings in the locker room, bringing the team together in a bad inning and getting the spirits up, talking to the whole team before the game and get us pumped, get us ready for the game. That's who I am. From leadership experience from Boy scouts, leading more than a 200 scout troop, to being a fire fighter and working as a team to get things done, efficiently and effectively, being a leader is what I am about.
