Jason Santiago '14 Recruiting Profile

I just completed my High School Season as a Junior playing starting 3B and R.H.P.  I led my team in hitting with a Batting Average of .386 and .479 O.B.P.  I led all 4-A Division 3rd Baseman in Hitting and was honored by being named to the KingCO 4A All-League Team as well as receiving the "Coaches Award" from my High School Team Coaches. 

My goal is to be a student athlete on a highly competitive program at a College or University that is a good fit for me academically.  I train all year with the goal of being an everyday position player and the best at my position on every team I play on.  My strongest defensive performances come when I play the 3rd Base and 2nd Base positions.

I work constantly on developing and keeping a consistent approach at the plate that will give me the best opportunities offensively no matter what the situation is or who I am facing. I have been able to adjust and consistently hit for average against top pitching at all Regional and National Tournaments where I have faced Division I committed players.  My mindset is to never give an at bat away.
