Jason Neve '18 Recruiting Profile

I truly love the game of baseball and the strategy and statistics involved in the game.  I'm an extremely hard worker and believe in continuous improvement as it relates to improving my skills.  I feel that I'm a good leader and can motivate and help other players raise their game.  The reason I enjoy playing at the catching position so much is it allows me to provide leadership to my team and help control the tempo and outcome of the game.  I have strong mental toughness and can quickly move beyond a bad game or a series of bad at bats and can mentally reset very quickly.  I've always had strong working relationships with my coaches and feel that I'm very coach-able and able to positively receive and act on constructive criticism.   I've been fortunate enough to play baseball for most of my life, I truly enjoy the game and would love to have the opportunity to play for as long as I'm able.
