Personal Statement

I am very excited to be entering my Senior year at Decatur High School in Federal Way where I will continue to take challenging courses.  I have played baseball since I was four years old and love to play the game whether it is a pick-up game of wiffle ball in a local park or playing in the state championships.   I am very excited about the opportunity to play baseball in college and want to continue playing baseball for as long as possible and at the highest level that God has given me the ability to play.  I am very committed to academics and that is my first priority.  My coaches and teammates have always commented positively on how hard I work, how positive I am on the field and how I respond respectfully and positively to directions from my coaches.  My faith is very important to me and sets the bar for how I want to be a person and player of character and integrity.  I am very loyal to my team and my teammates will give a 110% on and off the field to make my team and teammates successful.
