Personal Statement
I am a process oriented person who uses determination and attention to detail to overcome any challenge. My work ethic and positive attitude has resulted in strong performance in the classroom and on the field.
My long term goal is to attend a college where I can challenge myself at the highest levels academically and athletically. I plan to pursue a career in medicine with the goal of being an orthopedic surgeon. As I strive to reach my goals, I understand it is important to be a leader who is highly coachable a positive influence on others. I never take anything for granted. I know that earning top grades or a spot on a team is never freely given. I have a specific daily regimen that starts with my studies and ends with drill work and lifting to further my baseball development.
Although I am extremely passionate about baseball and grind every day relentlessly to reach my goal, my faith, family and academics are also top priorities in my life. To date, I have proven the ability to balance everything important in my life. I am grateful for the success I’ve had and willing to work to ensure I continue to be successful in everything I do.
