April 2019 Personal Statement
I have a strong work ethic and am committed to activities in which I am involved. I am the oldest of seven kids, which requires me to be independent and take responsibility for my activities. I chose to attend Notre Dame High School, which is 30 miles from my house as it's the only Catholic school in the region and has high academic standards.
The commute time to and from school provides additional challenges that many of my peers do not encounter. I lettered in three sports as a freshman ( football, wrestling and baseball). I made academic all state in wrestling and was the starting catcher on the baseball team, in which I made second team all county. As a sophomore, I made second team all conference and second team all county in football. While being involved in three sports I maintained a 4.21 GPA and scored 1220 on the PSAT.
