Personal Statement

I have always had true passion for the game of baseball and understand the commitment it takes everyday on and off the field to not only be a better player but a better person as well. My goal has always been to play college baseball and represent that university successfully and responsibly. My great grandfather played professionally for the Chicago White Sox and I would love to follow that tradition as he has been my inspiration all these years. I believe that I am a great candidate as I am a team player. Team has always come first for me and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. I am also a very good student, an honest individual with high character traits that is very coachable and willing to work hard to get better every day. I have grown up playing baseball at a school with a great tradition for winning and on nearby traveling teams.I have played short stop, second base and pitcher which makes me a very versatile candidate.
