Personal Statement

My name is Colin Indermuehle. I am in the class of 2021, 5’10” and 170 lb short stop.

I have been playing baseball since I was 4 yrs old and it is my passion! I played other sports like basketball through 8th grade and football as a QB/Captain. I played on the varsity football team as a sophomore.

I played on competitive baseball teams: Grafton Junior Hawks and Bigler Baseball. I am now playing for Brew State Baseball Academy in Wisconsin.

I am starting as a short stop sophomore year on Varsity and started as a freshman. It was a great experience and we made it to the sectional finals.

Baseball has helped me become focused and organized with my busy schedule at school, practices and training. I understand that academics is important and my number 1 priority. I help with fund raisers and volunteer at my church.

I train at Athlete Performance for speed, strength and agility. I also train with Chad Tindell my hitting coach for the last 5 years.

I know it takes a lot of hard work to be successful and the best player. I am willing to do what it takes!

I would like the opportunity to play for a college team. My dream is to 1 day become an MLB player!!

I hit my personal best on exit velocity, 94, which was 3rd highest, 82 across the diamond, 3rd highest, was a good event, I hit personal PBR numbers on all the measurables.

  • Camp/Event
  • Baseball Factory
  • 12/27/19 to 12/27/19
  • I went to my first Baseball Factory Evaluation Event. I had a great time. Some of the highlights where my hitting velocity was my personal best 93, I beat the averages on all 11 events. I talked to Dan Forester, the Baseball Factory Rep, he said I scored out as a skilled player giving me a A grade. He said on the scale of 10-70, I scored in the low 50’s, the average is a 40 for a Junior. He invited me to play on their National team in California late in July. I’m going to give it some serious thought, it’s an 8 day tourney. I could run the 60, there wasn’t enough room. He said I graded out more as a 3rd baseman do to my power.

I will continue to work all winter long. I’m attending a Baseball Factory on 12/27/19, I will post the results when I get them.

  • Weather was not our friend, we played 1 game, we beat GRB 12-0 in 3 innings, run ruled them. I played ss, I had 3 assists. I batted 2 times, walked, and hit a 1 hopper off the left field fence for a double and RBI. The rest of the games where rained out.
  • Camp/Event
  • Varsity High School Season
  • 3/11/19 to 4/29/19
  • 4/29/19, just an update, my Varsity team had a rough week going 0-4, scoring runs, but tough with pitching. I had a chance to pitch, giving up 2 runs in 3 innings. It felt good to get on the mound again. I’ve been hit 6 times so far, the worse this past Friday taking a fast ball on the top of my left hand. My hand isn’t broken, just swollen on top, hopefully I will be able to put on a glove for tomorrow’s game. I’m still batting .429, OBP .595, 8 runs scored, 3/3 on stolen bases. I will keep you informed as the season goes on.
  • Camp/Event
  • PBR
  • 3/03/19 to 3/03/19
  • Took batting velocity from 80 to 88, throwing velocity from 70 to 75, took my 60 from 7.67 to 7.44, was laser at 7.31 at NIU camp 1/19. Need to get 60 under 7, batting velocity 90 plus and throwing velocity 80 plus by next PBR later this summer. I start the HS season this Monday against Cedarburg. I will up date my stats as the HS goes on.
  • Camp/Event
  • Prospect Camp
  • 1/12/19 to 1/12/19
  • Just got my results back from the 1/19 NIU Prospect Camp. It came out well, I scored above average for the whole camp, not just my class of 2021. There was about 110 participants, all the way up to JC players. I scored a 31 on there grading scale, 40 would put me in the ready to play D1 now. Makes me feel good the hard work is paying off, but I also know there is a lot of hard work ahead to play at the next level. I have a PBR camp coming up in early March. It’s an ID Camp held at the Hitters Complex. I will up date this at that time.
