Making the varsity team as a freshman was a goal of mine that I set out to make early in my 8th grade season. Once that goal became a reality it become a lot more than just athletics to me as it was also a great learning experience for me as a person. The values our seniors focused on for our team that year included teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. I used these pillars in my daily life and I am grateful for what they instilled in me. My goal is to graduate high school and earn a bachelor's degree related to the business field. I am also in the National Honors Society which focuses on academics and character and have minimum standards for accepting applicants.
