Personal Statement
I am a baseball player! I live and breathe baseball, it is my passion. My whole goal in life since I was seven years old was to play baseball in college and after college. I hope I get to live my dream! I am a very passionate player and also take instruction very well from any coach, I just want to keep getting better and better. I listen to anything my coaches say. My coaches through my years have always complemented me on always doing what I am told and never thinking I know more than any coach. I have always had complete respect for all my coaches that I have had through out all my years of playing sports. All I can do is ask for a chance and I will prove to you I have what it takes to play at this next level of baseball. Sports have been my life in high school, I have never let my team down in anyway of showing bad sportsmanship on and off the field. I have never been in any sort of trouble with partying, drinking or drugs. My sports come first and want to be a good role model for anyone that watches me or plays with me on the team. I was chosen as a captain of the baseball team as a junior in high school, I felt that is a huge accomplishment knowing that I am known as a leader on the team. I never want to let my coaches, parents or teammates down in any way. Having a high GPA is also very important to me, I have proved that you can keep your grades high and also work really hard on the sports you are playing in. I am very proud of being an honor student and not just known as baseball player. All I know is what you put your heart and soul into anything can be accomplished. Nothing is easy in life and maybe that is why there is so much gratification when you do accomplish your goals. Up to this point in my life I have made my parents, family, coaches and teammates proud of me and that means the world to me. Now I just want to play at the next level of baseball and prove to the college coaches I can do this and make the school proud that I play for. Take a chance on me I won't let you down.
