NCSA and The U.S. Army National Combine

For the 3rd consecutive year, NCSA will be the proud partner of the U.S. Army National Combine.  This combine is an opportunity for 500 of the top underclassmen football players from all over the country to compete in a NFL style combine.  Some of the famous alumni who have participated in the combine in the past are:  Ted Ginn Jr. (Miami Dolphins), Donte Whitner (Buffalo Bills), Jamaal Charles (Kansas City Chiefs), Tim Tebow (Florida), Colt McCoy (Texas), Matt Stafford (Georgia), Tom Zbikowski (Notre Dame), Myron Rolle (Florida State), Derrick Williams (Penn State) and Armando Allen (Notre Dame)

NCSA will have a significant presence at the combine this year.  Aside from providing all the recruiting education at the weekend event, several members of NCSA’s scouting staff will be at the combine making in-person evaluations.  In addition, 17 football players that NCSA is currently guiding through the process will be taking part in the combine.

The National Combine takes place in the days leading up to the US Army All American Bowl which is the most prestigious high school all star game in the country.  The game involves some of the highest ranked senior prospects in the country and gives football fans a glimpse of the future.  Be sure to watch the game which will be aired nationally on NBC at 12 noon CST on Saturday, January 3rd.
