Coach Taylor’s Top 25 Pre-Season Rankings Cont.

Former PAC-10 recruiting coordinator and current NCSA Recruiting Expert Randy Taylor has announced his pre-season top 25 football programs for the 2012 season. Counting down to #1, one team will be announced each day along with a glimpse of Coach’s notes. Today, Coach Taylor’s #21 comes from the midwest.

#21 Michigan State

The best way to let a talented but less experienced QB settle in to the speed of the game is to run the ball and play good defense. The Spartans have these qualities and a solid kicking game.

If I had a farm and was a betting man I’d bet it on MSU beating Boise State in its opening game at Spartan Stadium which could lead to a ten win season. Overall they have a tough but good home schedule that sets up for a run at the Legends title and a return to the Big Championship game.

One more thing that has to be recognized is the stability of Coach Dantonio’s staff which in my opinion is a huge reason for the past success and predicted future success.

Randy’s countdown includes #22 Auburn, #23 Stanford, #24 Notre Dame, #25 North Carolina and the bonus #25-B Boise State. Keep tabs on the daily countdown via our Facebook page and on our blog. How will your rankings stack up against Coach’s?
