Personal Statement
Cheering was never an actual hobby of mine. My mother decided to enroll my sister and I into cheering to keep us busy. Over the years I grew into learning as much as possible. As of now I’m a volunteer working at a local park district teaching cheer. Monday through Friday I participate in cheering with my high school cheer squad. I also do competitive cheering as well. I've been a part of all star cheer and performance rec cheer.
Moving into to college I plan to major in computer programming. I aspire to be a computer programmer/professional cheerleader. Cheer has helped with my confidence and social skills. The best part, I enjoy tumbling just as much as cheering. Learning new stunts and tumbling is exciting. My older brother was able to teach me some of my best and favorite tricks which are Round Off Backhand spring, standing tuck, layout, Ariel cartwheel, and I'm working on my full.. As I have progressed in cheering I learned a lot more about myself. Cheering is my ultimate dream that I am turning into reality.
